Fastjet Alirlines Bridges Victoria Falls Toursim to the rest of the World

VICTORIA FALLS, (The Southern African Times) – Fastjet Zimbabwe spokesperson Nunurai Ndawana announced the introduction of its latest flight schedule between Victoria falls and Nelspruit’s,Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport in South Africa effective from Wednesday,16 March 2022.

The additional route between Zimbabwe and South Africa will initially be operated by fastjet three times a week,on a Monday,Wednesday and Friday.

Mr Ndawana added further, “We see this route as a link for the onward tourism development in Southern African region. This route connects one of the prime areas for tourism in South Africa with on of the main entry points to Africa’s Eden and Zimbabwe’s tourism capital , Victoria Falls.

The timing of the route will allow the passenger from Victoria Falls to Nelspruit sufficient time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and arrive in Nelspruit in time for an air shuttle to their Private Game Reserve and an afternoon Game Drive”

Fastjet customers will be able to make bookings through the company’s official website www.fastjet.com as from early next week.

Fastjet Airlines will play a key role in the restoration of the brand Victoria Falls after the negative impact of Covid-19 which resulted in the entire industry closing especially last year which resulted in some companies permanently closing down,retrenchment and loss of expected revenue.

Post Covid -19 plans in the Victoria falls will require external assistance from airlines like Fastjet to provide an effective and efficient transportation system.

The travel industry requires people and people need transportation and as a consequence the  announcement by fastjet will go a long way in insuring the recovery of the Victoria Falls tourism Industry.

Fastjet has won several awards which include Leading African low-Cost Carrier World Travel Awards in 2016,2017,2018,2019 and 2020.

Currently Fastjet connects three major cities in Zimbabwe by flying between Harare ,Bulawayo and Victoria Falls. Internationalthe airline offers Bridge bridge Harare,Bulawayo and Victoria Falls to South Africa.

The highlight features of fastjet airlines are baggage allowance,multiple payment methods,free baggage allowance and high level of customer care from the check-in point to their Pilots.
