The Southern African Times kicks off its Two Day Virtual Investor Roundtable Today

LONDON, (SAT) – Following the launch of the African Economic Outlook 2020 Amid Covid19 report by the African Development Bank; Asian markets continue to affirm Africa as the prime investment destination. To gain better insights into the investment landscape across Africa, we invite you to join the conversation with leading experts  in this space. 

As the world continues to grapple with the Covid19 pandemic, managing economic recovery and bolstering public institutions; we take a closer look at the unfolding impact on the African investment landscape and the struggle to facilitate bounce back economic recovery is global. The event is themed “ Resilient Investments, Recovering Economies & Covid19“.

Today’s event kicks off at 1500HRS GMT and will be hosted by Tinodiashe Mandebvu who is an Associate Consultant at Africa People Advisory Group. Tinodaishe is a business advisor with experience in strategic planning, project management, economic research, data analytics, business development and client relationship management. She is a  management consulting professional for 4 years’ experience. She has a knack for developing complex models for organisations in order to solve their problems. She has a keen interest in the future of work, particularly the transformation of organisations in African markets through digital tools.

Her experience includes market research and strategy design across sectors such as financial services, manufacturing, insurance and public sector.  Tino, has previously worked for US Bank – Home Mortgage department in Minneapolis (MN,USA) prior to launching her Management Consulting career.

Today’s panel will include leading players within the African market whose extensive experience will help us shape an outlook on Africa’s post COVID economy. The days panellists include, the chairman of the British African Business Alliance Mr David Smith, Nigeria’s Head of Trade Remedies ADETOLA ONAYEMI, Nicol Mullins who is a Managing Partner at Africa People Advisory Group including the CEO of Africa Matters Limited Simiso Velempin, Keith Kirkwood who is a US Diplomat and the Chairman of a Non-Profit Charitable organisation called Gift Global Initiative and a representative from Market Intelligence Africa.

On the technical front SAT partnered up with Play Afrika TV which is leading digital entertainment company tipped to be Netflix’s biggest competition within the African film market space. The founder Nico Abote said ”We are happy to work alongside SAT we anticipate a great event”.
