Tanzania sees rise in new registered investment projects amid COVID-19 pandemic

DAR ES SALAAM, (The Southern African Times) – The United Nations on Tuesday commended Tanzania for its unwavering efforts toward the promotion of peace in the east and southern African region.

“The UN appreciates that Tanzania has been a bedrock of peace and stability, with a rich history of bringing countries together and helping to build peace,” said Zlatan Milisic, the UN Resident Coordinator in Tanzania, in commemoration of the International Day of Peace.

He told his audience in the capital Dodoma that the global body recognized the contribution of Tanzania to the UN peacekeepers, who are risking their lives in support of peacekeeping missions all over the world.
