Remitly Announced as Headline Partner for 2024 Zimbabwe Achievers Awards UK Edition

The global remittance giant Remitly has been revealed as the headline partner for the esteemed 2024 Zimbabwe Achievers Awards (ZAA) UK Edition, scheduled to take place on 11 May in Birmingham. Renowned for its online remittance services that cater to over 150 countries, Remitly was founded in 2011 by Matthew Oppenheimer, Josh Hug, and Shivaas Gulati and achieved public listing on the Nasdaq exchange in September 2021.

ZAA founder Conrad Mwanza expressed utmost delight in collaborating with Remitly, emphasizing the shared vision of celebrating excellence and fostering international collaboration. Acknowledging the significant contributions of Zimbabweans in the healthcare sector in the UK, Mwanza announced the addition of a new category sponsored by Ultra Med Health Care to recognize the achievements of Zimbabweans in this field.
