Botswana recently underscored its commitment to technological innovation and advancement during the Huawei Telecom Congress 2024 held in Gaborone, the capital city. Thulagano Merafe Segokgo, the Minister of Communications, Knowledge, and Technology, emphasized the significant role of technology in driving societal progress.

Zhang also welcomed partnerships to support the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises, aiming for mutual growth in distribution and commercial markets.

Furthermore, Zhang encouraged stakeholders to collaborate and exchange insights to shape the future of telecommunications in Botswana. This emphasis on cooperation underscores the importance of collective efforts in driving technological advancement and economic growth.

As the country continues its journey towards a digital future, collaboration and partnership will play crucial roles in maximizing the benefits of technology for all.
