Did You Know You Don’t Have to Be in London to Attend ACSIS 2024?

The African Caribbean Sustainability & Investment Summit (ACSIS) 2024 is breaking barriers by making its events accessible to audiences worldwide. Scheduled for Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd November, this landmark event will be hosted at two iconic London venues—the House of Lords and Lloyds of London—and streamed live online, enabling participation from the global diaspora.

Under the theme “Leveraging the African, Caribbean and UK Business Opportunities: Investing in a Sustainable Future,” ACSIS 2024 promises to deliver dynamic discussions on sustainable investment opportunities in agriculture, renewable energy, ICT, and tourism. Diaspora communities from Africa, the Caribbean, and beyond can now engage with the summit’s rich agenda from wherever they are.

Highlights of ACSIS 2024

Day I: Business Meets Diplomacy
The summit begins at the House of Lords with high-level roundtable discussions, bringing together African and Caribbean High Commissioners, Ambassadors, and UK-based diplomats. Rwanda’s High Commissioner to the UK, H.E. Johnston Busingye, will deliver a keynote address, setting the stage for impactful dialogues on trade and diplomacy.

Day II: Investment and Innovation
The focus shifts to Lloyds of London, where cybersecurity, tourism, and investment strategies will dominate discussions. Entrepreneurs and business leaders from Africa, the Caribbean, and the UK will explore innovative approaches to sustainable development.

Young Heroes & Sustainability Awards
ACSIS concludes with the Online Young Heroes & Sustainability Awards, recognising exceptional contributions to sustainability and community development. Nominate candidates from your community by emailing awards@africancaribbeansummit.com.

A Platform for Global Engagement

David F. Roberts, Chairman of ACSIS, emphasised the importance of inclusivity in this year’s summit. “This is an excellent opportunity for Africans and Caribbean nationals wherever they are to participate in an historic event. By streaming ACSIS live, we ensure that our dialogue on sustainability and investment transcends borders,” he remarked.

Supported by the African Union Commission, Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States Commission (OECS), and Caribbean Export Development Agency (CARIB-EXPORT), ACSIS 2024 aims to foster diaspora engagement while promoting practical solutions to global challenges.
