Boulevard World’s Africa Zone Brings the Continent to Riyadh

Boulevard World in Riyadh has introduced an immersive Africa Zone, offering visitors a vibrant exploration of the continent’s diverse cultures. This initiative forms part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, a strategic plan aimed at diversifying the kingdom’s economy by fostering tourism, cultural exchange, and global engagement.

The Africa Zone presents a sensory journey through the continent’s culinary heritage, featuring a variety of traditional dishes that encapsulate its gastronomic diversity. A standout attraction is the Ethiopian coffee ceremony, an integral part of Ethiopian culture, where guests can witness the intricate preparation and communal significance of one of Africa’s most renowned exports.

Beyond its culinary offerings, the zone captivates visitors with live musical performances, showcasing the rhythms and melodies emblematic of African traditions. Artisans from across the continent exhibit handcrafted goods, allowing visitors to acquire unique souvenirs while supporting traditional crafts that have been passed down through generations.

Adding to the authenticity of the experience, the Africa Zone includes wildlife exhibits featuring iconic African species such as giraffes, lions, and parrots. These exhibits offer an educational perspective on the continent’s rich biodiversity and highlight the importance of conservation efforts.

By bringing Africa’s cultural and natural wealth to the heart of Riyadh, the Africa Zone not only enriches the city’s cultural landscape but also strengthens diplomatic and economic ties between Saudi Arabia and African nations. As the kingdom continues to expand its global partnerships, such initiatives foster mutual understanding and appreciation, positioning Saudi Arabia as a hub for international cultural exchange.
