Dr. Alex Ntung

Dr. Alex Ntung is a London-based research consultant specialising in political economy, governance, geopolitics, conflict, security, and development issues across Sub-Saharan Africa. A Fellow of the Leiden Centre of African Studies and the Conflict Analysis Research Centre (CARC), he holds a PhD and two Master's degrees in conflict-related disciplines. With more than fifteen years of experience advising international organisations, governments, donors, and think tanks, Dr. Ntung is widely recognised for his expertise on the Great Lakes Region of Africa. He is the author of Not My Worst Day, a regular commentator on political and security affairs, and an international speaker who has delivered keynote addresses at the United Nations and other global forums. Fluent in five languages, he frequently engages with diplomats, policymakers, and political leaders on governance, security, and conflict resolution.
