(The Southern African Times) – Golfer Tiger Woods is back home and recovering after an accident that saw him stuck in the hospital for days.
Taking to his Twitter account today, Woods said, “Happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks.
Thank you to the incredible, surgeons, doctors, nurses, staff at Harbour UCLA medical center. You have all taken such great care of me and I cannot thank you enough.
I will be recovering at home and working on getting stronger every day.”
Tiger Woods has been in hospital with “multiple leg injuries” after he was involved in a serious car crash in California on February 24.
Firefighters had to free the golf superstar from his Genesis GV80 SUV using pry tools and an axe.
Authorities said his car was the only vehicle involved in the crash adding that he would not be facing any charges for the crash, as it was purely an accident.
