Yvonne Makolo has been appointed as the 81st Chair of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Board of Governors. Makolo’s appointment not only marks a personal achievement but also stands as a testament to the progressive shift towards gender equality in the traditionally male-dominated sector. Yvonne is also  the current CEO of RwandAir, the national carrier of Rwanda, where she has contributed significantly to its growth and expansion.
