Meet the most industrious property developer from Zimbabwe: Ken Sharpe

Property development is a complex business, and only a few people have managed to master it.

One of such people is Mr Ken Sharpe, the CEO of West Property, who has won numerous awards in his career.

Mr Sharpe is a prominent businessman who has consistently demonstrated his exceptional business acumen in the property development sector.

Last Friday, West Property and Mr Sharpe dominated the Zimbabwe Business Awards ceremony held at Crown Plaza in Harare, Zimbabwe.

The company was rated the Best Property and Land Developer of the Year, and it received the Company of the Year award in the Construction Services Industry.

These awards highlight West Property’s commitment to excellence and its outstanding achievements in the property development sector.

Notably, Mr Sharpe was adjudged the Chief Executive Officer of the Year at the Zimbabwe Business Awards.

This award recognises his exceptional leadership and business acumen. It is a testament to his strategic vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

Mrs. Tatiana Ellis, West Property’s Chief operating officer, was also in line to receive the national award for Top Businesswoman of the Year, showcasing the strength of the company’s leadership team.

Mr Sharpe’s exceptional performance has not gone unnoticed in the business community.

He has become a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs and property developers who want to succeed in the industry.

His accomplishments are a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and determination.

Last November at the CEO Network Awards ceremony held at Meikles Hotel, Mr Sharpe was recognised as the top CEO Platinum winner.

This is not the first time that Mr Sharpe has been recognised for his sterling performance in business.

In fact, he has won several accolades that showcase his expertise and leadership skills in the property development sector.

At the Megafest top 20 awards, West Property won the Zimbabwe Top 20 Outstanding Organisation 2022 Award.

On the same night, Mr Sharpe was adjudged as one of the Top 20 Outstanding Men in Business for 2022. This recognition was well-deserved, as Mr Sharpe’s leadership has played a significant role in West Property’s success over the years.

His leadership and business acumen have contributed significantly to West Property’s success, making it one of the best property and land development companies in Zimbabwe.

A few years back in 2020 during an event which was held virtually due to the coronavirus pandemic the businessman was awarded the Forbes Best of Africa Awards Innovative CEO of the Year Award.

The Forbes Best of Africa Awards are traditionally held annually in connection with the Best of Africa event held in New York City during the United Nations General Award (UNGA) meetings.

The Awards highlight business personalities with a record of creating and building global businesses that have made far-reaching and positive contributions to the development of Africa.

Mr Sharpe’s numerous accolades demonstrate his commitment to excellence, and he is a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders.
