ZIES Connects Zimbabwean Students with Top Irish Universities

Zimbabwe International Education Services (ZIES) has officially launched as a transformative consultancy designed to connect Zimbabwean students with some of Ireland’s most prestigious universities. Through its partnerships with renowned institutions such as Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin, and the University of Limerick, ZIES is paving the way for Zimbabwe’s brightest minds to access world-class education.

Founded with a vision to promote academic excellence and broaden global opportunities, ZIES offers Zimbabwean students the chance to study in a country that ranks highly for research and innovation. Ireland’s universities are globally recognised for their strengths in fields like STEM, health sciences, business, and the humanities, offering a blend of academic rigor and cultural diversity that attracts students from all over the world.

“At ZIES, we believe that education transcends borders,” says Donnah Vuma, Founder and CEO of ZIES. “Our mission is to provide Zimbabwean students with pathways to Ireland’s renowned educational system, which is grounded in critical thinking, innovation, and societal impact. We are committed to creating opportunities that will benefit both the students and the broader global community.”

The historic relationship between Zimbabwe and Ireland further strengthens this initiative. Irish missionaries and educators have played a key role in shaping Zimbabwe’s educational landscape over the years, promoting values of equity, discipline, and justice. ZIES seeks to build upon this legacy, offering Zimbabwe’s new generation access to Ireland’s academic institutions, where they can acquire the knowledge and skills needed to make a significant impact on the world stage.

Ireland, as a member of the European Union, provides Zimbabwean students with unique advantages, including access to global networks, research opportunities, and industry placements. Moreover, Ireland’s two-year post-study work visa allows graduates to gain invaluable professional experience within the EU—an attractive proposition for those looking to develop their careers after completing their studies.

Through its personalised approach, ZIES offers a range of services designed to cater to the specific needs of Zimbabwean students and their families. This includes guidance on selecting university programs that align with students’ academic strengths and career goals, financial advice on securing scholarships and funding opportunities, expert visa support, and post-graduation career advice to ensure that the benefits of an Irish education are fully realised.

ZIES is not just a consultancy but a strategic partner in fostering stronger cultural and academic ties between Zimbabwe and Ireland. By facilitating Zimbabwean students’ access to Ireland’s academic ecosystem, ZIES is contributing to the global exchange of knowledge, creating a pipeline of skilled professionals who will help drive progress in both nations.

With plans for educational fairs, school partnerships, and consultations, ZIES is set to redefine educational opportunities for Zimbabwean students, offering a new avenue for academic ambition.
