Kwesta to Grace Saintfloew’s Album Launch: A Year Later, A Bigger Stage

South African Hip Hop royalty Kwesta is set to headline one of Zimbabwe’s most anticipated music events this year as a special guest at Saintfloew’s album launch, scheduled to take place at Alexander Sports Club in Harare on Saturday, October 12. This marks the second consecutive year that Saintfloew, one of Zimbabwe’s most dynamic and rising Hip Hop stars, will drop a new album at the same venue, nearly to the day after his last one in 2023.

South African hip hop star, Kwesta

The upcoming event promises to be a celebration of both local and international talent, with Kwesta’s presence adding significant star power to the night. Kwesta, known for his chart-topping hits like Ngud’ and Spirit, has a reputation for electrifying performances and has built a strong fan base across Africa. His inclusion in the lineup underscores the growing connection between Southern African Hip Hop scenes, as Zimbabwean and South African artists increasingly collaborate and share stages.

For Saintfloew, this album launch holds a deeper significance. His previous album, which debuted at Alexander Sports Club last year, marked a pivotal moment in his career, establishing him as a force to be reckoned with in Zimbabwe’s Hip Hop landscape. One year later, he’s back on the same stage, ready to deliver an even bigger statement with a new body of work.

Reflecting on his journey, Saintfloew shared, “It’s been a year of growth, both personally and musically. Dropping this album exactly a year after my last one, at the same venue, feels like I’m coming full circle. This project is deeper, more mature, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

In addition to Kwesta, the night will feature an array of local Zimbabwean talent, with performances by some of the country’s most exciting acts. The likes of Voltz JT, Master H, Chillspot, Tamy Moyo, Silent Killer, Michael Magz, and Nisha Ts are set to thrill fans, bringing a variety of genres from Hip Hop to Dancehall.

Supporting the musical lineup will be an impressive list of DJs and MCs, including Merciless, Ninety 6, Chief Ben, and Pretty Gangsta, ensuring the event keeps the energy high from the moment gates open at 18:00.

The event is not just about celebrating Saintfloew’s new release but also represents a broader movement within Zimbabwe’s Hip Hop culture. The genre has been steadily gaining momentum, with local artists pushing boundaries and attracting international attention. The collaboration with Kwesta speaks to this growing influence and suggests that Zimbabwean Hip Hop is becoming a key player in the region.

The stage is set for Saintfloew’s album launch on October 12th

The show will take place at the iconic Alexander Sports Club, a venue that has become synonymous with major music events in Harare. With gates opening at 18:00, the event is expected to draw a large crowd. Tickets are priced at $10 for General Admission, $30 for VIP, and $100 for VVIP, offering fans various levels of access to the experience.

This album launch is shaping up to be more than just a concert—it’s a celebration of Zimbabwean Hip Hop’s evolution, Saintfloew’s artistic growth, and a testament to the genre’s ever-expanding reach.
