In a move aimed at bolstering skills development and enhancing the country’s competitiveness, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa applauded the inauguration of the Huawei Innovation Center in Johannesburg, the largest city in the country. President Ramaphosa expressed his optimism that the center would propel economic growth, while also supporting South Africa’s national developmental objectives.

During the official launch event, President Ramaphosa acknowledged Huawei’s plans to make substantial investments in data centers and cybersecurity industries across Africa.
