HARARE, (The Southern African Times) – Stand up comedian, celebrity chef and entrepreneur Carl Joshua Ncube has just been announced as a rural correspondent for the Southern African Times online publication. The comedian recently announced a 4 year study he will be doing on Rural Zimbabwe a move that will see Ncube unearthing the potential Zimbabwe’s Rural Tourism Economy.
According to The Southern African Times, Ncube’s study could be one of the most important studies as it gives potential diaspora investors a point of information with great context. “It is on this background that we feel Carl Joshua Ncube needed a platform such as ours to share some of his findings as content on our publication and then we syndicate it to other publications world wide” TSAT Editorial Team.
Carl Joshua Ncube who is widely known as a content producer sharing his experiences around the through his vlogs, lectures and articles has also partnered with a local Zimbabwean University to collaborate on this study as a way of opening the younger generations consciousness on the potential of Rural Zimbabwe. According to Carl, this study will also provide comparisons of Zimbabwean villages to villages around the world to see what innovations, similarities or differences can help Rural Zimbabwe harness the use of technology without losing that authentic Rural identity.
The study is broken up into three main parts namely CURATION, COLLABORATION and CREATION. The curation is a compilation of all information available on Zimbabwe Rural (past and present). The collaboration aspect will see Carl working with other researchers, organisations, brands and projects to combine, analyse and understand existing and discovered knowledge to figure out how to create a blueprint of a futuristic Rural Zimbabwe.
The information will be readily available from the Southern African times website and content will be available on subscription from August 1 when Ncube relaunches his reality television series on Rural Life called Ekaya!
